It's set in the very Gotham-like Paradigm City, a city enclosed in a dome because it's believed no one can or does live outside the dome. The Series Set at an undetermined time period, The Big O wears its Batman influences openly. Those 13 new episodes were co-produced and funded by CN, and now the first four of the new shows are hitting DVD, picking up right where the action left off at the end of episode 13. The Big O ran for 13 episodes in Japan but thanks to its popularity on Cartoon Network, a second "season" was ordered for a total of 26 episodes. ![]()
